If you read Shaken, Not Stirred from Sawyer's Last Call series, we met Woolf very briefly there. (It is absolutely not required to read first, but I highly recommend that series). Ever since that first glimpse of Woolf, I have been anxious for this book ever since. The author's promise that it was gonna be a dirty one didn't make waiting any easier.After the passing of his father, Woolf is now the head of his family's multi-million dollar ranching business in Wyoming. While he does love the ranch, it is not the only thing he loves. He also loves sex. Lots and lots of sex with lots and lots of women. Which is why he opened The Wicked Horse with his best friend Bridger, a popular country bar with an exclusive sex club out back. His life was filled with plenty of random sex and going just as he wanted it until Callie walked into his bar.
Callie has always been the good girl, doing what everyone expects of her. First her parents and now her fiance. But when she finds her fiance with another woman, she heads back home to Wyoming and vows to discover her wild side. She wasn't expecting Woolf to reenter her life so vividly or just how wild they could be together.
Dear lord I loved this book so hard. From the country setting to the filthy boys and of course the sex club. There are some intense scenes in that club that left me panting and craving more. This is a bit of a second chance romance for Callie and Woolf and they were just fabulous. Woolf has a dirty kinky side that was irresistible and I loved how Callie blossomed and found her kinky side as well. Of course there are obstacles and both make their share of mistakes, but their journey to a HEA was wonderful. As with all of Sawyer's books, the cast of side characters are just as intriguing as the main ones and I cannot wait for Bridger's story. Although we are going to have to wait for a long time to get it, I have a feeling it is going to be epic and the anticipation will only make it that much sweeter.
In the meantime, the epilogue of Wicked Fall sets us up for the next book and... wow... just wow. I am already drooling over it. I absolutely love Sawyer's dirtier side that she unleashed with the beginning of this series and I doubt I'll ever get enough of it. Next please!
