Jay has never been a good girl. Even when she was young she's pushed the limits; constantly rebelling against a father that was always disappointed with her. Yes, she's done a lot of messed up stuff in her life, but she still can't figure out what led to this stranger pointing a gun at her and promising to kill her. The man who asks to be called Mr. X.
A stranger. The fact that she doesn't remember him only infuriates X more. He has spent years waiting to get his revenge and now the time is here. But he can't pull that trigger. Not yet, anyway. No, he'll spend some time extracting a little more revenge from her delectable body.
So fair warning, this is a dark erotic novel. There is nothing sweet about Jay and X together. No not sweet at all, but delicious none the less. Their "relationship," if you want to call it that, is completely f'd up. X is such a mystery from start to finish of the story. The author throws you into the deep end right of the start, showing us just how gruesome he can be. I immediately got sucked in and wanted to delve into his mind, find out why he is the way he is. There is obviously a lot of pain buried in that mind and I wanted to dig it out.

Fifty Shades of Grey The Movie Trailer #FiftyShades
It was the trailer seen round the world and if you are anything like me, you can't get enough of it! Yes I am aware that we have all watched it already, but I felt the need to post it here on the blog too. For my viewing pleasure every day. And yours too, of course. ;)
So tell me what you thought of the Fifty Shades of Grey trailer. Better then you expected? Still not sold? Are you excited for Valentine's Day?
I LOVE Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey and I cannot wait for this damn movie. February can't come fast enough for me.

Book Review: More Than Forever (More #4) by Jay McLean
Let me start by saying that I love this series. L.O.V.E. Now I have to admit that when I first saw that book 4 was going to be Cam and Lucy's story, I was a bit perplexed. I didn't think they needed their own book since they were always together through the events of the first 3 books. Boy, I could have not been more wrong. This story was amazing. Do NOT read this before the others. All books in the More series must be read in order.
So Cam and Lucy. Lucy and Cam. We first met them at Senior Prom back in More Than This. Lucy the loyal and quiet bookworm and Cam the charming and sweet hottie. Throughout the years that follow in college, they are always their in the background. Always together and always in love. I had absolutely no idea what was going on for these two behind the scenes.
More Than Forever starts with 15 year old Cam and Lucy. Lucy has just lost her mom and her family is floundering. With 6 younger brothers to care for and a father that has mentally checked out, the weight is too much for her young shoulders to bear alone. Though she refuses to ask for help, Cam steps in and gives it anyway. But why? They aren't friends. Heck, they've never even spoken before. It doesn't matter though because Cam needs to help her. Needs to know her. He is there for her when she breaks and he helps to put the pieces back together.

The Seduction Epilogue by Roxy Sloane
“Wake up, sleepy-head.”
I drift, drowsy from the soothing sound of the ocean. I’m having the the most amazing dream. I’m on a tropical beach, where clear crystal water laps the power white sand, and palm trees shade my lounger. And there’s a man. Mmmm. A gorgeous, sexy man stroking every inch of my body...
His fingers brush over my bikini top, playing with my breasts. I let out a moan.
“That’s right, baby.” He chuckles. He squeezes with my nipples through the thin fabric until they’re hard and aching. “Are you awake yet?”
“No,” I whisper, wanting to stay in the bliss of this dream. It feels so good.
“Hmmm... how about now?” His hand moves lower, over my bare stomach. I shiver. He traces lightly down between my thighs, stroking over my clit. Even through my bikini, the sensation spirals through me. I gasp, rocking up against his hand.
“Still sleeping?” he murmurs.

Book Review: One More Night (Seductive Nights #3) by Lauren Blakely
I was so flippin excited when I found out that we were getting one more book with Clay and Julia. I have enjoyed every single book of Lauren's that I have read, and I've read them all, but this series sits up at the top as my favorite from her. Julia is probably one of my favorite female leads of all time" strong, smart, witty and sexy. And her and Clay together? Well, they rival the Macy's NYC fireworks display. No, scratch that, they are way more explosive!
So Clay has a special Vegas weekend planned for the two of them. He plans on helping Julia fall back in love with poker while showering her with gifts and lots and lots of sexy times. Lots. Did I mention lots? These two do NOT disappoint when it comes to steam factor and they have no problem getting it on anywhere and everywhere. Plane... town car... night club...yes... yes... YES! Add in a little drama and intrigue and we have got another fantastic Seductive Nights read!
Thank you Lauren for giving us Clay and Julia. And thank you, from the depths of my soul, for Clay's filthy mouth.
And pearls.

Adult Film Stars Move from the Covers of DVDs to the Covers of Books
Who better to write fictional stories about sex than those who have already made a career out of the live-action equivalent?
After the success of the wildly popular 50 Shades of Grey franchise, adult stars are taking advantage of the growing demand for erotic novels. Each book in the series flew off the shelves as fast as stores could stock them. Not surprisingly, entrepreneurs and businesses alike took notice. As with any trend, a lot of people wanted to catch a piece of the market while it was on the upswing, none more so perhaps than those in the adult film industry.
Porn is one of the most widely shared, readily available products on the internet. But with the rise in internet piracy and free options for consumers over the years, profits margins from high quality studio porn have dwindled over the years. Salaries became even slimmer for actors, leading a lot of them to look for other ways to supplement their income.

Book Review: The Seduction 4 by Roxy Sloane
It's finally here! The conclusion to Vaughn and Keely's tumultuous and sexy story. With the way things ended in book 3, it was really up in the air what would happen with them next.
Remember that quiet girl was back in book 1 that was walked all over by her boss? The girl that kept to herself and never spoke up? Yeah, well, that girl is long gone and dammit if I'm not proud of Keely and her growth. She didn't ask for all of this and had no time to prepare but yet here she is handling it all so well. She has been forced to toughen up and the new confidence looks good on her.
Vaughn has made mistake after mistake in each book but I still love him despite it all. Now it is time for him to man up and make things right. Even if that means begging on his knees for Keely's forgiveness. But can she ever trust him again? Can there be a future for them after all of the lies and deceit? It won't be easy, that's for sure, but at least we can enjoy more of Vaughn's filthy mouth along the way.

Book Review: My Hunger (Inside Out #3.2) by Lisa Renee Jones
It has been quite a while since I've been in Lisa's Inside Out world and I almost forgot how much I love it! And these novellas from Mark Compton's point of view are probably my favorites. After 3 full length novels and watching Mark through Sara's eyes, it is wonderful to get a glimpse into this complex, dominant man's mind.
He is still reeling from Ava's confessions, the upcoming trial and his mother's illness. Plus now he has this Crystal issue. He shouldn't want her. She is the opposite of submissive in every way. But he can't stay away from her, or out of her for that matter.
This brief novella did an excellent job of sucking me back into this world and making me ravenous for the next novel, No In Between. I am nervous for this trial and anxious for the outcome and I can't wait to see how it all unfolds.

Book Blast: Very Wicked Things (Briarcrest Academy #2) by Ilsa Madden-Mills
Excerpt
I got out of the shower and dressed hurriedly, anxious to get back to Cuba.
The door opened, and like he did it every single day, he stepped inside the steamy bathroom.
“Think I need a shower, too,” he said, his fingers easing off his football practice shirt.
What? Now?
Trying to play it cool and failing miserably, I moved my eyes off his naked chest and checked out his track pants and the obvious bulge he sported.
Oh. Did his lower body match the rest of him? Was it all sinewy muscle and big?

Book Review: UnRaveled by K. Bromberg
So nearly two months after reading this I am finally getting around to writing my review. Procrastinate much? Yup, that's me. Right, let's get on with it then! ;)
Apparently, people really had their panties in a twist about this novella, causing the Bend Anthology to be banned on Amazon, and I just don't get why. It clearly states that this is a dark erotic story, so what did people expect?
This is a captive/captor tale with an interesting twist. Is it dark? Yes. Is it fucked up? yes. And is it perfectly written? Hell yes! K. Bromberg did a fantastic job with this one. I felt just as conflicted as the heroine did. I felt her guilt. I felt her arousal. I felt her everything. Now the twist didn't surprise me at all, but for a few minutes there I thought I might have speculated wrong. Bravo to K. for a brilliant dark novella. No this story isn't for everyone, but if you enjoy darker stories and can handle the non-consensual sex, then give it a try!

Book Review: Whiter Than White by G.G. Carver
Elena White is quietly moving through her mundane life, stuck in the perpetual London rat race. Her job is meh, her boss is a mega bitch and she has no social life whatsoever. But a chance meeting with an old school acquaintance starts to change everything. Jasmine suggests she does something completely out of her comfort zone and join a ridiculous online dating service. While her first dating experience is a complete disaster, it leads her to Conrad Bailey. Conrad is gorgeous, sweet and sexy but has his own slew of issues he is dealing with. Can a few nights of passion turn into something more between them?
I love books that are set in London. Perhaps because I have never been there and I like to imagine the city in my mind. And I do adore those delicious British accents. Whiter than White sucked me in from the get go. Let me explain what happened:

- 8:00am - I start reading at the bus stop
- 8:15am - My boys get on the bus and I head back to the house. Once the car is off and I am all alone in the cool, quiet garage, I decide to sit and read for a few minutes.
- 10:45am - That's right, I said 10:45!! I spent 2.5 hours completely immersed in Elena's story and totally oblivious to time or the rest of the world. Or the fact that I was still sitting in my minivan.

Book Review: In Your Corner (Redemption #2) by Sarah Castille
Amanda has always done things on her own. Growing up with parents who hardly paid her any attention and were disappointed with everything she did has made her independent to a fault. She won't ask for help and she certainly won't let anyone all the way into her heart. That's why she lost Jake two years ago.
Jake's world has gotten considerably more difficult since his split with Amanda. He lost his brother and now he's running the family business in hopes he can finally make his parents proud. This also means he stopped his MMA training at Redemption. Needing legal help results in chance meeting between the two after not speaking to each other for nearly two years. Seeing Amanda has Jake wanting her all over again. He wasn't able to break through the walls built around her heart the first time around; does he have the strength to fight for her all over again?
I absolutely loved the first book in this series, Against the Ropes, so I could not wait to read this one. It can be read on its own, but reading book one will enhance it and I highly recommend it. I love a sexy, smutty, MMA romance and Jake (a.k.a. Renegade) did not disappoint.
