Book Review: Ryker (Cold Fury Hockey #4) by Sawyer Bennett

Ryker Evans is the hottest goalie in the league right now; he's settled into single fatherhood with his two girls and life is pretty darn good. When the team announced that Grayson Brannon, daughter of the owner, is taking over as general manager, he's the only team member not phased by the change. He doesn't care if she's a woman, a gorgeous woman at that. He's going to give her a fair chance and see what she can do. She did, after all, give him his chance on the Cold Fury.

Gray knows that being the first female GM in hockey is going to be a battle, but she also knows she is the perfect woman for this job. She expects the the criticism, the naysayers and yes even the sexism. What's she didn't expect though was to fall for her star goalie.

When the attraction becomes too much to ignore and they finally give in, they are forced to keep it from the world. Are they strong enough to survive the pressures of a secret relationship? And if their cover is blown, will it put a quick end to the career Gray has worked so hard for?

I love hockey. I love hockey romances. And I love, LOVE, Sawyer Bennett. All of this is the recipe for awesomeness in a book for me. So when you throw in a sexy as hell goalie hero who is a single dad and has no problem being tea parties with his girls? Yeah, I'm a goner. The Cold Fury series is my all time favorite hockey romance series and Ms. Bennett has added another winner here with Ryker. It has the combination of funny and sexy and heartwarming that I've come to expect from here. Grayson was an amazing, super smart woman and I thoroughly enjoyed I when she stood up to every naysayer man who didn't think she could hack it. Ryker might be my favorite of the guys on the team so far because he's not the typical man who're hit a down to earth family guy. Plus he's a goalie and goalies are pretty damn flexible. So yeah, I loved it and I hope the author continues to write more for this series.
