Must Read Series: Songs of Submission by C.D. Reiss

I found the Songs of Submission series (C.D. Reiss) by accident about a month or so ago. I'm not even sure how I found it but I think it popped up on my Goodreads somewhere. This is a series of shorter novellas that make up one large story. I'm not normally a fan of a bunch of smaller books as I'd prefer to read it all in one or two full length books. But after book one I really didn't care. I just needed to read more! I immediately downloaded the rest of the available books onto my Kindle and was up all night long so I could read them all in one shot. When something is that good, I refuse to stop until I'm done. And believe me, these are that good.

Songs of Submission is the story of Monica, a beautiful aspiring singer, and Jonathon, a sexy, dominant billionaire. What starts out as a one night infatuation soon becomes something more. These novellas are loaded with drama and lots of hot sex. Lots. And yes, as the title of the series suggests, there is some BDSM involved. The writing is so good and I immediately became invested deeply in these characters. Like I said, I did not stop until I was finished with them all, which around 2:00 in the morning. Now I am impatiently waiting for the final three to be released.

If you decide to give these a try, and I strongly suggest you do, then I also highly recommend that you join C.D. Reiss's mailing list. Why? Because she will send any short, supplement stories out for free to her subscribers. These supplement are all about Jonathon. Last week I got #5.5 Rachel delivered to my inbox, which just made me my hunger for #6 grow.

  2. I'm going to see if I can check these out at the library on my kindle (they had 50 shades so...)! I love independent writers who can churn out stories quickly!

  3. I actually like shorter stories because my attention span is so short these days. LOL! (Not because I don't want to read, just because I'm so darn busy all the time. Ha!)

  4. That's the problem with a good series. They're kinda like potato chips - you can't stop at just one.

Thanks for introducing me to this series.
