Book Review: Blindsight (Blindsight #1) by Adriane Leigh

Next book! Next book! I need it!

I can count on one finger how many books I have blindly started reading without ever looking at the blurb. And that would be this one. I literally had no clue what Blindsight was about, but that didn't matter because it's Adriane Leigh and I always enjoy her work.

So she starts us off right in the thick of it with a prologue that makes you wonder what the heck is going on. From there we go back in time a bit to see the events that led up to that point. We have Erin, a woman in need of a job, and Hunter, a wealthy and successful erotic photographer. He offers her a job as his PA, but you can't help but wonder if there are other motives behind their "chance meeting."

Their attraction to each other is electric and it's only a matter of time before their working relationship turns into something more. However, it's clear that they both have secrets and who knows what will happen when all is revealed.

So fair warning, this is the first book in a serial and there is a cliffy at the end. And yes we have to wait a month for the next installment but that doesn't bother me, this first book is totally worth it. There is an air of mystery/suspense with both these characters, which keeps the readers on their toes. Who are they really? What are they hiding? GAH! I'm dying to know. Then there is Hunter. He's sexy as hell but once he gets behind that camera and starts clicking away? Dear lord he's intense and panty melting. He has a very dominant edge to him that made him even more delicious to me.  I can't wait for the next installment .

Favorite Quotes
He was so dominant, so feral when he flipped to work mode, I couldn't help but wonder the tone he took when he fucked.

“You always have a choice, I just like to take it away from you once and a while.”

“Close your eyes.” He grunted, his eyes boring into mine. I saw the switch then. The lowering of his tone of voice, the heat that burned in his green irises. This was Hunter fucking. Hunter fucking was so much hotter than Hunter shooting, and Hunter behind a camera made my stomach swim.

“I love the taste of you.”

Title: Blindsight
Author: Adriane Leigh
Series: Blindsight #1
Genre: Contemporary Romance
{blind·sight: the ability to see without knowing it}

Sometimes a single touch is all it takes to spark a wildfire.
Erin Warner learned that the day she bumped into the dashing, tattooed stranger on a busy Chicago street corner. She’s captivated from the moment his mystifying green eyes find hers, and it isn’t long before she finds herself flying to exotic locales to assist him, the award-winning erotic photographer Hunter Ellis, on location. What she didn’t bargain for was the way he makes her blood bubble and churn with lust and thinly-veiled promises of unfathomable erotic pleasure with every click of his camera.
But there is more to Hunter than meets the eye, including the intricately etched tattoos decorating his body that disguise horrific scars from a past he refuses to revisit. As she peels away the layers, Erin realizes that what she thought was true, never really was at all, for both of them.
Now she can only hope that blind adoration for the dashing stranger didn’t sign her death warrant.

The first in a thrilling new erotic serial intended for mature audiences.
