I was super excited about this anthology because of the kick ass lineup of authors in it. I've enjoyed books from 5 out of 6 of them. Eden Butler is the one who is new to me and I'm glad I got a chance to read something from her, more on that later.
I loved the idea that while all stories are separate from each other, they all take place in New Orleans and more specifically each have a connection to Tulane Medical Center in NOLA. Overall I enjoyed this anthology and it was a quick weekend read. Scroll down for comments and ratings on each individual story.

Book Review: Always by Kindle Alexander
Avery Adams has returned to Minnesota to begin his Senate race. On a night out at a local restaurant, he did not expect to fall head over heels in love with the owner. Thrown out of his home at 18 for being gay, Kane Dalton has struggled and worked hard to get to where he is today. What follows is a sweet and sexy love story that not only shows us how Avery and Kane start their love, but also how they continue to build it over the years.
This is the third book that I have read by Kindle Alexander and I must say it is quite different than her others. In fact, it is different from most romance books I read in that it follows this couple over a lifetime. Always spans 40 years, from when Avery and Kane meet, through starting a family, building a career and all the way to the very end. While the majority of the book is angst-free and heart warming, the end roe me up a little bit. (Or a lot). Reading as Kane's heart both literally and figuratively breaks was beyond sad.
I will say they I wish we were given a little bit more of the start of their love story since the beginning of a romance is always my favorite part to read about. Overall I really enjoyed reading Always and I look forward to more from this author.
