Cover Reveal: All Grown Up by Vi Keeland

A new, sexy standalone from #1 New York Times Bestseller, Vi Keeland.

When I first encountered Ford Donovan, I had no idea who he was…well, other than the obvious. Young, gorgeous, successful, smart. Did I mention young? If I did, it bears repeating. Ford Donovan was too young for me.

Let’s back up to how it all started. My best friend decided I needed to start dating again. So, without my knowledge, she set up a profile for me on a popular dating site—one that invited men ages twenty-one to twenty-seven to apply for a date. Those nicknamed Cunnilingus King were told they’d go straight to the top for consideration. The profile wasn’t supposed to go live. Another point that bears repeating—it wasn’t supposed to.

Nevertheless, that’s how I met Ford, and we started messaging. He made me laugh; yet I was adamant that because of his age, we could only be friends. But after weeks of wearing me down, I finally agreed to one date only—my first after twenty years of being with my high school sweetheart. I knew it couldn’t last, but I was curious about him.

Though, you know what they say…curiosity kills the cat.

My legs wobbled walking into the restaurant.
Ford was seated at the bar. When he turned around, he took my breath away.
His sexy smile nearly melted my panties.
But…he looked so familiar.
As I got closer I realized why.
He was the son of the neighbor at our family’s summer home.
The boy next door.
Only now…he was all man.
I hadn’t seen him in years.
I left the restaurant and planned to put the entire crazy thing behind me.
Which I did. Until summer came.
And guess who decided to use his family’s summer home this year?

Book Review: Bossman by Vi Keeland #Giveaway

Reese desperately needs to be rescued from the world's most boring date, she just didn't expect the sexy stranger who insulted her a few minutes ago near the bathrooms to be her savior. Not only is Chase gorgeous, but he has an uncanny ability to make up outrageous yet somehow believable stories on the fly. Too bad she'll never see him again. Except she does. And often. And then suddenly she's working for him. How the hell did that happen?

This book was just so much fun to read.  I cried a little bit and I laughed a lot and I just enjoyed it so very much. Chase and Reese both have painful pasts, and yes those experiences cause some angst and drama and pain. I definitely felt for both of them, especially Chase who clearly has not fully healed. Reese really tried to fight the attraction, and I give her credit for lasting as long as she did, I sure wouldn't have. But once she finally gave in, they were oh so good together.

I always enjoy a Boss/Employee romance but add in Vi Keeland's heat that I've come to love and the humor that kept me smiling throughout and you just have a great hot summer read in your hands. I definitely recommend this book and I continue to look forward to more from this author.

Book Review: Stuck-Up Suit (Cocky Bastard #2) by Vi Keeland & Penelope Ward

After reading the awesomeness that was Cocky Bastard, I could not wait for another book from this writing duo. I loved the premise of this book and how the Graham and Soraya meet: by her watching his hot, arrogant ass on the train and then finding his lost phone. What followed her discovery was pretty damn hilarious. She might have called some of the numbers stored in his phone. And she just might have texted some others. I loved this, it had me cracking up, and I really wish she did some more of that and we got to see his reaction to it. Then of course there is the entire returning the phone interaction that was just priceless. Followed by some fun and dirty banter. All of this together was really working for me and kept me laughing while I waited for the sexy stuff.

I liked Soraya a lot - her personality was fun and strong and really shown through the pages. Plus, her name is kind of kick ass. Sure Graham was arrogant and way too serious for his own good, but Soraya brought out the best in him. The progression of their relationship, however, fell just a bit flat for me. I can't really pinpoint why other than maybe it felt rushed? It's weird because it was good in so many ways but there was something missing that kept me from absolutely loving them together.

The obstacles they faced were pretty intense and I found myself extremely disappointed in their choices, particularly Soraya's. I went from adoring her to wanting to smack some sense into her. While this may not have been as big a hit for me as Cocky Bastard was (tough act to follow, honestly), it was still a good, fun and sexy read that I enjoyed. I hope this duo continues to collaborate on more books as I know it's a guaranteed good time.

Book Review: The Baller (Down & Dirty Football #1) by Vi Keeland #Giveaway

The last thing that up and coming sports reporter Delilah Maddox needs during her first locker room interview is a cocky football player giving her a hard time. However, that is exactly what she gets from star quarterback Brody Easton. Emphasis on cocky and hard. Brody isn't used to women turning him down and he wants Delilah badly, but she doesn't go out with "players." What follows is a relentless, sexy and comical pursuit that Delilah has no hopes on escaping. But Brody has some shit in his past so what happens when all of that resurfaces just when he's got Delilah right where he wants her?

I have had the honor and pleasure of reading and reviewing most of Vi Keeland's book and I swear each one is better than the last. The Baller is by far my favorite from this author and one of my top 2 favorites of 2016 so far. It was just brilliant! It had humor and amazing tension and sexy times while also blending in an intense level of emotions. I loved Brody, of course (who wouldn't?), but who I really fell in love with was Delilah. It's not often that I like a heroine this much, as in never, but Delilah was awesome. So strong and sometimes hilarious. There was a certain scene with a certain outfit that had me hysterical I may have even peed a little bit. She is seriously amazing and I want to be her when I grow up.

Book Review: Cocky Bastard by Penelope Ward & Vi Keeland #Giveaway

Aubrey is on a cross country trip to California to restart her life. When she gets a flat tire at a rest stop in Nebraska, her only choice is to make a deal with the cocky Aussie Chance. Little did she know how a road trip with a sexy stranger would change her life. Despite the nickname she's given him, she finds him to be charming and sweet and maybe she could see herself falling for him. But he has secrets he's not willing to share that just might make that impossible.

This book was refreshing and not at all what I expected. From the title I figured we would be getting a hero that was an alpha male with some tendencies to be a jerk and I could not have been more wrong. Oh Chance is plenty cocky, but in a cute and irresistible way. His accent and his dimples? GAH! I had several laugh my ass off moments between all of his subtle yet not so subtle innuendos and the goat. Dear God, the goat. Priceless.

Aubrey was a likable heroine though I admit to wanting to smack her a bit in the second half of the book. The first half of the book was told from her point of view and the second half from Chance's and I am not gonna lie, I absolutely LOVED getting inside his head. No surprise there really as I usually prefer the male's view.

Book Review: Beat (Life on Stage #2) by Vi Keeland #Giveaway

I loved Flynn in Throb. He was just a sexy sweetheart and I couldn't wait for his story. And oh boy, Flynn did not disappoint. (Note: Beat it a standalone novel. You do not need to read Throb first, though I highly recommend it). Now I don't like to give any spoilers in my review, however I also know there are touchy subjects that some readers prefer to avoid. So I feel that I need to warn ahead of time that there is some cheating in Beat. I'm not a fan of it myself, but I find I can tolerate it when the characters are worth it. And Flynn Beckham is worth it.

The minute Flynn sets his eyes on Lucky, he knows he wants her. He knows she is unlike any other woman he has met before. But Lucky is dating the lead singer of a popular rock band. The rock band he happens to be opening for on tour. So that might be a bit of a complication. As much as Flynn does not want to be the other man, he just can't seem to stay away from her.

Lucky has had a crush on Dylan Ryder since she was a tween, and now she is living a dream as his girlfriend. It's not until Flynn walks into her bar that she begins to question their relationship. Is it truly love or still just girlhood fascination?

Book Review: Throb by Vi Keeland

Kate is a contestant on Throb, a reality show similar to The Bachelor. She's here because she needs that grand prize. The money will go a long way to help her family. And luckily, the man all the woman are vying for is both sweet and handsome. She just has to stay focused and follow the rules, which is going well until she meets Cooper.

Cooper is a Hollywood producer and a workaholic and he likes his life just fine. He never realized he was missing anything until Kate. Now the only girl he has ever truly wanted is the one girl he can't have. Bound by the rules of the show, Kate is forbidden from dating anyone. But watching her be seduced by another man might kill him. Can they wait to start a relationship till after the show concludes or will they finally give in to the attraction and have to hide everything.

Throb is different from the MMA books I've read by Ms. Keeland in the past and I really enjoyed the change of pace. This was a fun read that both made me laugh and made me cry. Cooper is a yummy alpha male completely in charge of his empire and I loved how bossy he could be in the bedroom. That bossiness mixed with a touch of sweetness results in a man that makes your knees weak.

Book Review: Worth Forgiving (MMA Fighter #3) by Vi Keeland

Jax is dealing with the aftermath of his father's scandals and it is beyond aggravating. The paparazzi are hounding his every step and he hopes that getting out of D.C. will get him out of the spotlight, even for just a few days. His business trip to New York City to check out a potential investment is just what he needs. Including some work out time in the ring.

Lily has had a rough go of it as of late. After losing her father, she turned to the first man to make her forget the pain. Now she is having a hard time getting rid of the crazy, possessive jerk. She is hoping that once she secures a silent investor for her father's chain of gyms, she can finally get Caden out of the picture.

Sigh. Where do I start? Let me go with Jax because I loved him. I mean, what's not to love about a sexy MMA fighter who can talk a little dirty when needed? Add in the fact that he also looks damn fine in a designer suit and just...yeah. He's got just the right amount of alpha going on, not too over the top, and he knows just how to use it. Despite his father being the lowest of scum, Jax in the complete opposite. He is sweet yet determined to move things with Lily out of the friend zone.

Book Review: Worth The Chance (MMA Fighter #2) by Vi Keeland

The last time was saw Vinny in Worth the Fight, he was just a teenager working out at Nico's gym. Now he is all grown up and all man. All ripped, sexy  man. With his crappy childhood, he's had little control over anything in his life until now. But fighting and sex give him the control he craves. Then he sees her again and everthing changes. It's been seven years since Olivia saw Vinny. Seven years since he broke her heart. Can she trust him to not break it again?

Vi Keeland has once again put together a sexy, angsty, MMA love story and I devoured it. Given Vinny's upbringing, his controlling nature in bed comes as no surprise but it is very welcome. Very, very welcome. His dominance is hot as hell and Liv loves it. But Liv makes some crucial mistakes early in their relationship and I spent most of the book waiting for it to come back and bite her. Which of course it did. It was different to see the woman screwing up for a change and things get a little chaotic. I was a bit unsure of how it could all be resolved. I wish we had a little deeper epilogue that gave us more insight into Vinny and Liv's future. But I am hoping we get to catch up with them in book 3. And I cannot wait for Jax's story as he promises to be a yummy one!

Cover Reveal: Worth the Chance (MMA Fighter #2) by Vi Keeland

Meet Liv Michaels
It may have been seven years, but I’d know him anywhere. Sure, he’s grown, filled out in all the right places, but his captivating blue eyes and cocky grin are exactly the way I remember. Even though I’d much rather forget.

Liv Michaels is almost there. She’s smart, determined and weeks away from landing the job she’s dreamed about for years. Time healed old wounds, even her broken heart from the devastation of being crushed by her first love.

Book Review & Tour: Worth the Fight (MMA Fighter #1) by Vi Keeland

MMA fighter stories are quickly becoming some of my favorite books to read. I don't know what it is about them that draws me in. OK, that's a lie, I know exactly what it is. Powerful bodies, tattoos, dominant personalities. Yup, that will do it.

"But when I finally get you underneath me, I'm definitely not going to treat you like a lady."

Elle has sort of been dating William for a few years now. He is dependable and predictable and dreadfully boring. Both lawyers, they have a lot in common career wise, but there is no spark between them. And Elle has been OK with that, OK with the safe relationship, until she met Nico.

Former MMA heavyweight champion Nico has not been back in the cage since his last opponent died at his hand. While he still trains as if he is competing, the guilt he is carrying is tearing him apart. Elle knows all about guilt and how it can ruin your life. Her guilt has owned her since she was a child. Can they help each other finally let go and move on?

Cover Reveal: Worth the Fight by Vi Keeland

It didn’t matter that the ref called it a clean hit.  Nico Hunter would never be the same.

Elle has a good life.  A job she loves, a great apartment, and the guy she’s been dating for more than two years is a catch and a half.  But it’s boring…and she strives to keep it that way.  Too many emotions are dangerous.  Her own past is living proof of what can happen when you lose control.

Then Nico walks into Elle’s office and everything changes…for both of them.  But what can the tattooed, hard-bodied MMA fighter and the beautiful and always steady attorney have in common?  A lot more than they bargained for.
