One sure fire way to get me to read a book is to put a half naked tattooed guy on the front. Yup, that sucks me right in! Jax Chamberlin is a former actor turned stuntman. He is tired of women using him for his Hollywood connections to further their careers. Lexi LaCroix, model and dress designer, does not just want to be a piece of arm candy to the guy she is dating. So both of them are wary of getting involved with someone right now. Some anonymous text flirting while waiting to board their flight from L.A. to New York leads to one night of anonymous passion. But will one night be enough for either of them?
Reckless is written in my favorite style of alternating first person point of views from the hero and heroine. This gives the reader a chance to connect with both characters. Jax realizes pretty early on that he wants more from Lexi and while he may deny himself for a little bit, he ultimately tells her. I loved that he was honest about his feelings. Lexi on the other hand, is way more stubborn. She is too busy letting image control what she does and she is afraid that Jax's bad boy look will hurt her business. Besides that one flaw, I did like Lexi a lot. Especially when she let her sexy side free.
Jax is my typical book boyfriend: bad boy, cut body, tattoos - everything that makes my mouth water. And to be honest, I find the name Jax to be pretty damn sexy all on its own. Combine that with this blatant sex appeal and... wow, you get some super steamy scenes!
