At the end of book 2, Annalise got a very unpleasant surprise: her mother. Now she is under her constant supervision, and criticism, with no time for anything that is not ballet. But there is only so much she can take and she finally finds a way to get to Raphael. The first two books have been building up to this moment between them and it was explosive.
Annalise realizes that she must choose between ballet and Raphael. Will she choose the path that makes her mother happy or the one that makes herself happy? The choice might be easier than she thought, but it appears Raphael may not want her the way she wants him.
Tension and emotions run high in the conclusion to this sexy serial. I love how strong Annalise has become and that she finally stands up for what she wants. Raphael might make a few stupid guy mistakes, but he is still amazing and swoon worthy. The only disappointing part was that Annalise's mom didn't get punched in the face. So I just added that part in my mind.

Book Review: Second Position (Dirty Dancing #2) by Melody Grace
I. Love. This. Serial.
Why?
Raphael
Sweet baby Jesus he is amazing and the way Melody writes him as he is dancing... I can see him moving sensually to the music in my mind. I want to do bad things to him.
And I love how Annalise is going away from her normal behavior of being 200% focused on ballet to making lots of room for Raphael. I do not, however, like a certain Italian chic and her jealousy. Yup just added a second person to my "needs to be bitch slapped list" right below dear old mom.
A lot happens in book two despite it being a quick read. There is dancing and some hot and heavy make-out sessions, finally ending on quite the surprise. Annalise has to decide if Raphael is worth the risk. I know what my answer is but what will hers be?
I really am enjoying this serial immensely and I am dying for the third and final installment!

Book Review: First Position (Dirty Dancing #1) by Melody Grace
Annalise has been working hard to be the perfect ballerina all her life. She had no choice really, being pushed relentlessly buy her former prima ballerina mother. Despite her mother, she loves to dance, although at times she feels that passion slipping away. Now she has what might be her final chance at getting that coveted spot while in Italy with her ballet group. Nothing will get in her way. Except maybe for him.
The minute she spots the sensual beautiful man dancing in the streets of Rome something shifts in her. Raphael makes her feel things she's never felt before and want things she's never cared about before. She knows she can't afford the distraction the sexy Italian would cause, but she also can't afford to not see him. To not kiss him. Can she have both a fling with the hot Italian while and the top spot in the upcoming performance? Or will she have to choose just one.
Oh. My. Wow.
